SHORT SALE ASSISTANCE
This email is in reference to our recent introduction and real estate transaction using your agent, Peggy Murrietta. I too am a Realtor. Our home was sold via short sale. We met Peggy and gave her the lsiting based on a referral from our attorney.
From the initial appointment, she gave us the required information to help us make our decisions. There was not a moment of hesitation or opportunity for us to second guess ourselves. She was timely, professional and friendly. She took pictures of our home and paired them with words that made us feel proud of the place despite our financial situation. Due to the great job she did in preparing the listing, we obtained multiple offers within days of posting. Peggy helped us to secure the offer that was highest and best.
No one can control the decision made by a lender in a short sale. Our lender did not make it easy. After months of waiting, the lender denied our short sale. Peggy prepared letters to political figures and solicited help from her broker. She never gave up. Quite honestly, we did. We had resolved ourselves to the idea that the bank would force us into foreclosure. Peggy' tenacity combined with her flexibility, ultimately completed our short sale. The original buyer waited and waited and that is nearly unheard of in this market. I attribute that to Peggy.
